1. What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website. It allows your browser to remember its interaction with the site; cookies are used for purposes such as session information, language preference and analytics data.

At Hydroport we use cookies only as far as necessary. For cookies that require explicit consent, we obtain opt-in approval.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary

These cookies provide the basic functions of the site and cannot be switched off:

These cookies cannot be opted out of — they are mandatory for site security. Legal basis: KVKK Art. 5/2-c (performance of a contract).

2.2 Analytics

These cookies measure site usage anonymously. They operate only with your explicit consent:

Provider: Google LLC. Purpose: anonymous traffic and usage analytics. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, the analytics cookies listed above are not placed on your device and your visits are not linked to one another. If you choose "Decline", or before you make any choice, the measurement code remains loaded on the page, but only a cookieless and non-identifying measurement signal is sent. This signal writes no cookie to your device and cannot be used to link your visits to one another; it does, however, contain the technically necessary connection information (including your IP address), as any internet connection does, and Google uses it solely for aggregate statistics and modelling. This signal covers not only page views but also interaction events on the site (such as form submissions, product views and clicks on contact links); those events are likewise transmitted in a cookieless, non-identifying form and used solely for aggregate statistics and modelling. You can withdraw your explicit consent at any time from the Cookie Preference Centre section on this page.

2.3 Advertising

We use Google Ads and Google Analytics advertising cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to track conversions. These cookies form a separate and independent consent category from analytics cookies and are placed on your device only with your explicit advertising consent:

Data processor: Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC. Advertising consent is independent of analytics consent; you may allow analytics cookies while declining advertising cookies, or vice versa. Under Google Consent Mode v2, no advertising cookie is placed until you give advertising consent; in addition, as long as advertising consent is not given, advertising identifiers (e.g. gclid) are redacted from the measurement signal that is sent. You can withdraw your explicit consent at any time from the Cookie Preference Centre section on this page; when you withdraw it, the advertising cookies (_gcl_*) remaining in your browser are also deleted.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set their own cookies:

• Google LLC (_ga, _ga_*) — anonymous traffic and usage analytics via Google Analytics 4; acts as a data processor; these cookies are placed only with your explicit consent. If you do not consent, only a cookieless, non-identifying measurement signal that becomes aggregate statistics is sent. As the data may also be processed abroad, the transfer is carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Google Privacy
• Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc) — advertising measurement and conversion tracking via Google Ads; acts as a data processor; these cookies are placed only with your explicit advertising consent. 4. Retention Periods

Cookie retention periods vary according to their function:

• Session cookies: deleted when the browser is closed
• Persistent cookies: stored for a maximum of 3 years
• Expired cookies: cleared automatically

You can delete cookies manually from your browser settings before they expire.

5. Cookie Management

5.1 Through the browser

Most browsers offer settings for controlling cookies:

• Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
• Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Cookies
• Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

From your browser settings you can block cookies entirely, reject those from specific sites or delete existing cookies.

5.2 Cookie preference centre

You can change your analytics and advertising cookie choices separately at any time from the Cookie Preference Centre section on this cookie policy page. From this section you can:

• View your current cookie preferences
• Allow or decline analytics and advertising cookies separately
• Withdraw your consent — when you withdraw it, the analytics (_ga*) and advertising (_gcl_*) cookies remaining in your browser are also deleted

6. Rights of the Data Subject

7. Policy Updates

This cookie policy may be updated because of new services or changes in legislation. Significant changes are announced on the site.
